Fearne & Rosie jam

Who doesn’t love jam? I know we sure do in this house but jam isn’t always the healthiest option and some brands can be packed full of sugar which isn’t great when your kids want it on their sandwiches everyday. However, Fearner & Rosie have the answer with their healthier jam which we were very kindly sent to review.

About Fearne & Rosie

Fearne & Rosie was founded by mum Rachel who wanted to create a great tasting jam that was versatile and lower in sugar than traditional jams. She names the company Fearne & Rosie after her two daughters as tey were the inspiration behind her creation.

The Fearne & Rosie jams are 40% less sugar than the standard jams and contain around 70% fruit which is more than most jams. They are made and using natural ingredients and never from concentrate. They are also HFSS compliant, vegan friendly and palm oil free too.

Our review of Fearne & Rosie jams

We were sent four different jams to try

  • Strawberry
  • Strawberry super berry
  • Raspberry
  • Blackcurrant

All four flavours are delicious! However I would say that the blackcurrant one that clearly says shar and tangy on the jar is in fact sharp and tangy, which the children didn’t like but I absolutely loved.

For them they loved all 3 of the others flavours with the strawberry super berry jam coming out on top. This one contains strawberries, blackcurrants, blueberries and raspberries and the mix of fruits really works well to create a sweet jam that tastes great on toast but even better on porridge.

Overall we were very impressed with the Fearne & Rosie jams, they are so tasty and full of fruit and the fact that they are 40% lower in sugar than our usual jam brand means I don’t have to feel guilty when the kids request jam sandwiches in their lunch boxes for the 5th day that week.

If you are looking at making some changes to your nutrition as part of your healthy parent journey then making the switch to Fearne & Rosie Jam is a very easy and delicious switch to make.
