Even the healthy parent can enjoy a nice glass of wine from time to time, especially if they are being mindful with their choices. Which is why when we were sent some organic wine by Domaine Bousquet to review last week I couldn’t wait to give it a try.
Why is Domaine Bousquet wine a good choice for the healthy parent?
Domaine Bousquet wine is made in it’s own winery in Argentina, the first in the area to become a regenerative organic certified winery. It’s location in The Uco Valley, which lies at 4,000ft in the foothills of The Andes. Not only is this wine organic, a good enough reason to deem it a ‘healthier’ choice, but it is also sustainable too as it’s
- B Corp certified
- 70ha Demeter certified
- 97% waste is recycled
- 360° sustainability
Our review of Domaine Bousquet wine
We were sent three bottles of the Domaine Bousquet wine to review.
The Domaine Bousquet Organic Malbec 2021, Uco Valley is bottled in the UK to reduce carbon footprint. It is described as being 100% Malbec, unoaked and fermented in stainless steel on the lees. It retails for £12.50 a bottle and is absolutely lovely. “
You will be able to enjoy the vanilla and spice that the oak brings without losing any of the fantastic black plum, blackberry and dark cherry fruits.”
When it comes to a red wine Malbec is our wine of choice and we like what like, so impressing us with a new Malbec can be difficult but this one definitely did it, so much so we will actually be ordering a few more bottles ourselves. It was easily our favourite out of the three.

The second bottle of red wine we were sent was the Domaine Bousquet Organic Cabernet Sauvignon 2022, Uco Valley. Again this one is unoaked and fermented in stainless steel on the lees and retails for £12.99 a bottle.
“The nose is heavy with mild spices, mineral notes and red fruits, followed by elegant flavours of cherry and blackcurrant with hints of tobacco leaf and black pepper.”
It is nice and if you like Cabernet Sauvignon I imagine it’s amazing however we did prefer the Malbec as this one was a bit heavy for us.

The third bottle we were sent was a white wine and as my husband doesn’t drink white I had to test this one on my own, oh the hardship! It was the Domaine Bousquet Organic Chardonnay 2022, Uco Valley which also retails for £12.95 a bottle.
“This fresh and golden-coloured unoaked Chardonnay has notes of apples and pears with hints of spice on the finish.”
I really enjoyed this one, just as much as the Malbec. It’s really light and smooth and very fruity and I would definitely but it again.
