Our review of Strong Roots
We were sent a selection of the Strong Roots products to try
- Mixed root vegetable fries
- Cauliflower hash browns
- Pumkin and spinich patties
- Kale and Quinoa
- Crispy crinkly fries
- Oven baked sweet potato fries
Our first impressions were that they looked and sounded great and as a big fan of mixed root vegetable crisps I couldn’t wait to taste the fries. I wasn’t disappointed they were delicious, especially the beetroot fries.
The cauliflower hash browns were also a big hit and they don’t taste like cauliflower at all. They do have a weird texture to them though that isn’t like a hash brown so you won’t manage to swap these in for your usual ones without telling the kids but they do taste nice and it’s definitely a great way to increase the vegetable intake without adding more salad.
The to types of patties were both amazing and really versatile. We have had them as a main with the root vegetable fries and salad as well as on a bap like a burger. They are both really full of flavour and well seasoned and the outer coatings add a great crunch.
Overall we were really impressed with the Strong Roots products and think they are a great way to add extra vegetables to your meals in a quick and convenient way that also adds variety and taste.
