vegan cheese

If you are going vegan as part of your healthy parent journey or are just looking for some dairy free alternatives then this review of Palace Culture and their chives and shallots cream cheese alternative is for you.

What is Palace Culture?

Palace Culture was founded by a dad who simply wanted to ensure his lad cold enjoy a tasty cheese alternative after having to go dairy free. That cheese was created from nuts and grew in popularity with friends and family before it was sold at the local farmers market and is now winning awards and being stocked in shops across the country.

Palace Culture now have numerous types of cheese alternatives that are all vegan friendly and organic and they were kind enough to send us a pot of their chives and shallots cream cheese to try.

Palace Culture Chive & Shallots Cream Cheese

This cream cheese is made with 100% natural ingredients, including fresh chives and shallots and no artificial additives or preservatives. It comes in a glass jar and looks more expensive than it this and we couldn’t wait to give it a try.

The verdict, amazing! It really is deliciously creamy and full of flavour. We used it as a dip and spread it on some crackers and it was a hit with the kids as well as the adults. It definitely resembles cheese and would work well as part of a cheese board although it also has its own unique taste and flavour too.

As it is relatively thick so although we used it more as a dip you could also use it as a spread for toast, sandwiches or bagels.

If you are looking for a vegan cheese alternative for entertaining then this is it, we will definitely be stoking up for Christmas for our cheese boards.
