Our review of Baker Ross
We have been fans of Baker Ross for years now and order from them for own use and as gifts throughout the year. This summer, however, we were sent a few kits to review and as always we loved every single one of them and here’s why:
- Ready to Use Kits: I love that all the kits come with everything you need to build the set, the only thing you may need is crayons, pens, or paints.
- Budget Friendly: The sets are all really affordable and often come with 2 or more in the set meaning you can use them with multiple children or join in yourself.
- Encourages Independent Learning: Children can often complete the craft activities on their own or with minimal support, building confidence and independence and gifting parents some time when needed most.
- Fun and engaging Although educational all the sets are fun and engaging for kids and they never feel like educational sessions yet we always find ourselves discussing the topic, googling facts and learning as we craft.
Our Baker Ross Recommendations
We have used many a Baker Ross set but some of our favourites have been the
Wooden Sail Boats – These were so much fun to build and decorate with my 5 year old daughter and of course we go to see if they would sink or float on completion and even race them from one end of the bath to the other. I loved how these came in simple parts that she could build herself with a little instruction and her pride on completion was adorable.
Penguin charm bracelets – We used these to discuss world penguin day and also random acts of kindness as we made these for her friends at school. It really tested her concentration and finger dexterity as well as her patience! But she made them and again was so proud of them and loved being able to gift them to her friends at school the next day.
Suncatcher – At Easter we coloured in these Suncatcher windcharms and added on the metal chimes for some holiday fun.
Overall we highly recommend Baker Ross for educational crafting fun and think they have the best range at affordable prices.
